I know there has to be a few now that the sight has grown so much... It's getting time to stop thinking so much about the fur... and more about the Foam! Let's see your set-up this year for target... whether it be 3D, or indoors, or back yard fun with some buddies. Let's try to get this sub forum some action.

Here's mine... just got her the other day... PSE Dominator 3D custom Black/Camo. I'm actually the 3rd owner of the bow... first owner was Loren Robinson PSE Pro Staff shooter... hopefully he left some of his mojo on it.

    Nice looking rig!

Almost got the itch to buy another target bow, haven't seriously shot now since 2008. The only thing standing between me and getting back into foam is 19' long and sitting on a trailer in the garage. There are a lot of times I think about getting back into it....but between my kid, wife, work, and the boat.......I just don't have the time to do it 100% and I'm just not wired to do it half assed.

Keep us up to date on your season, and best of luck this year!

I shoot a spots league every wednesday. I use my hunting rig, but it is a blast. It has def helped me to tighten up my groupings.

Shot my first 5-Spot with my new bow monday... 299 45x. I got absolutely robbed of my 300, the arrow cut the line and the foam stop physically pulled my arrow down and out of the white... Oh well... It will make it that much sweeter when I finally get that 300. :D

Shot again this evening... 300 47X... Sweetness! Now I gotta work on that x count.

I'm just starting to target shoot and am shooting a regional this Sunday. I also shoot a league at the local archery shop and have joined USA archery and shoot with my son with the local joad club. I shoot Saturdays with the other adults.

I started shooting 3D 2 years ago now. I'm really liking spots now too. I set up my bow for 3D but, I think it's going to serve 3 purposes. Hunting, 3D and now spots.

    2011 Prime Centroid
    CBE TEK Hunter
    Bodoodle rest
    20" Stokerized up front
    Stokerized offset mount
    10" Stokerized on the side.
TRU Ball BT Ultra 3 Gold release.

Best thing about it is it has all 3 of my bow kills on it.

    Ready for target:

Ok guys like I stated above I've never done any sort of target archery so here's a dumb question..... How many arrows do you take? LOL.. If I go to a 3d shoot how many arrows should I pack In My quiver?

Started dialing things in a little bit this weekend on my hunting bow to shoot some 3D.

I don't have the time to go after it like I did years ago and won't be setting up a dedicated open class rig, but I'll try and get out a handful of times this winter to shoot a pins setup on my hunting bow. There is an indoor 3D range down the road that some of the guys around here go to, I'm hoping to get out there and shoot for fun and to kill some time this winter.

I'm waiting on a new sight right now and once it arrives I'll post some pics of my setup.

I'm gonna try at the range that just opened up by me. Go with my hunting bow first and see how I like it.
