I'll drink to that, but add Tenn, Florida State, Miami and South Carolina...oh yeah, and LSU, and Ole Miss I can tolerate Vanderbilt, but only because they suck all the time. For me, its because I am a Florida alum and we are a dedicated bunch of folks.
Yankee's- Seems some who play for this Franchise have the rich kids on the block attitude. Some of their fans have the same attitude. Look at me. Some of Arod's comments and actions drive me nuts but just prove my point. Cowboys- Don't mind the team so much but can't stand the owner.
dont think i hate any team, just dislike some players... mostly QB's well almost all of them! reason being? different set of rules for that player. i totally respect them for what they can do (standing in the pocket and picking up that third route) but more respect for the older QB's who played in a time when they could get the crap knocked outta them!
What language was that? I didn't understand a word he just said. I need to watch more episodes of Swamp People.
FWIW, he is not an Alabama fan (when we loose anyway) worth his sole rooting for Auburn to win. I am an Alabama fan, and SEC fan second except when it comes to Tennessee or Auburn. I will root for Oregon to blow Auburn out of the water. ROLL TIDE ROLL
You should love Florida, ya'll always handled them in the bowl games in the past. Germ...why do you hate the SEC so bad, is it simply the media hype, because the Big 10 and Pac 10 get it as well.
Since beginning play in 1892, the program has claimed 13 national championships,[2][3][6] and is tied with Notre Dame with eight poll-era wire (AP or Coaches) national titles.[7] From 1958 to 1982, the team was led by Hall of Fame coach Paul "Bear" Bryant, who won six national championships with the program. Alabama has 801 victories[a] in NCAA Division I, has won 26 conference championships (4 Southern Conference and 22 SEC championships) and has made an NCAA-record 58 postseason bowl appearances. Other NCAA records include 22 10-game win streaks, and 16 seasons with a 10-0 start. The program has 29 10–win seasons,[9][10] and is tied with the USC Trojans with 31 bowl victories, also an NCAA record. I just figured I would throw a few facts out there since Alabama was'nt getting a little attention in this thread ROLL TIDE ROLL
A picture of where the "supposed" interception happened, as you can cleary see he was out of bounds by a mile. And this is a live shot just for HookAgain, clearly out of bounds. Nothing like opening up an old wound. I did laugh out loud when you called us the gumps, that is dang funny.
To answer the original question, i am not sure hate is a good word for me, but I sure do really really dislike some teams. Alabama had to fire their assistant address announcer after the Auburn game for playing son of a preacher man and take the money and run. That is what a rivalry is all about. I'm out, Roll Tide Roll
Case in point here (sorry to resurrect an old thread). This is the attitutde I was referring to. I was reading over the comments on NFL.com after the Steeler's win last night, and an (obviously) disgruntled Panther fan posted this What I get from this (aside from the need for more of a life and not letting a sports team affect one's mood so much) is that he/she is just bitter. Just thought I would point out there is a clear line between "mutual dislike" and "hate." I believe this whack job would fall into the latter.
