Just heard from Peak. He wasn't able to go out till about 1 this afternoon. Looks like the buck jumped the neighboring fence and into the corn field. He is still out looking.
Heading back out in the A.M. sick as hell right now and hopefully get 8 hours asleep for the first time since Sept. Sob people should stay home from work if they are sick!
Well all is lost and my season is officially over for archery. Wisconsin gun seasons start this Saturday and carry over into the new year in our CWD unit. I wish the rest of you the best of luck and hope you get on a deer. I leave tomorrow until Dec 1st for this first gun season and would like to wish You all a Happy and Safe Holiday Thanksgiving. Sorry to hear that bud. That really bites when you hit one, & then can't find it. Good luck for the gun hunt, stay safe & have a good holiday. I have one more shot at bow hunting tomorrow night up in Black River Falls.
