Nothing big but I have been playing a cat and mouse with this boy
for a few weeks now and having some fun. Yesterday I had a buck grunt wheeze at
me then farted. I couldnt see him to the north and so I grunted like a mad
deer. He snuck away to the northwest without a shot. After about 5 minutes
I bleated like crazy and ol smartass *his nickname* showed up in front of me
straight on. The look on him was priceless with his head up tall and neck out
so I said im shooting this c ocky sob. With gun season this weekend and Cole (Frog_slayer) making me promise to finally shoot the next buck I see I had my mind made up before the hunt. Well anyways he finally got within 20 yards with light closing fast and I took the shot. Like a knucklehead I forgot my flashlight and temps in the 20's I played it safe and backed out. I will be going after him when I getoff of work this morning. Need some luck here. 6-8 point.
If I missed he gets smarter if I killed Im smarter.:deer:
I still have 2 buck tags left.

    UPDATE:
Well all is lost and my season is officially over for archery.
Wisconsin gun seasons start this Saturday and carry over into the new year in our CWD
unit. I wish the rest of you the best of luck and hope you get on a deer.
I leave tomorrow until Dec 1st for this first gun season and would like to wish
You all a Happy and Safe Holiday Thanksgiving. Please remember all your thankful
for especially family, friends, and the boys over sea's.

    Peace,
    Tony

Yep he actually let one fly after the grunt and wheeze.
Usually I hear the death fart after the shot but this was before.
