Would somebody please be so kind as to post a picture of the fastening plate of an Alpine Soft-lol 5 arrow quiver please , I'm looking at fitting one to my Hoyt Excel Longbow , but need to know if the plate will fit without protruding from the Riser . Much appreciated Ps , could you also place something next to it , so i have a good idea of the size scale . Regards , Dave
I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for but I'll post 'em anyhow.... ...caveats... My mounting bracket is missing a rubber holder, this is obviously a lefty bow so it may all look backwards.. Pay no attention to the rust and baking soda residue... this is the sign of a well loved bow. I used the plastic cylinders to hold the bracket out from the side of the riser so I would have clearance for my rest.
Since Christines is missing the bottom rubber Ill give you some more pics! NOTE the cool little hook thingy I made for my quiver to hang on things since I dont shoot with it on!
Haha , the thought was there Ryno , cheers ma friend Christine and Dan , I thank you sincerely , the pictures are just what I was hoping for . Looks like I will get it to fit my Bow Nicely ( plenty of options with the screw holes ) and I like the hook you put on there Dan , I may adopt that Idea myself . Again I thank you all for taking time out and helping a fellow Bowhunter , I'll post the results when I've ordered and fitted the Quiver .
Sorry Ryno! Dan, your set up is way too pretty. Looking forward to the pics Bails. The only quiver I've ever used for my trad bows is a great northern with the rubber straps. I'm too much of a sissy to drill holes in 'em.
Have had the same Alpine quiver on 3 bows, and love it! I have the softloc bracket on both my bows now, just in case.
Crik - you do know that you're supposed to remove the bulk of the foam insert so your broadheads sit INSIDE the quiver hood, right?
It's the only bow quiver I have ever used , so thought being as I have the AMO holes there , I might try fitting the Soft-lok . I know it ain't exactly trad , but its a great quiver and my aluminum arrows won't rattle like they do in my Safari tuff Arrowmaster duiker
Davey, Check this one out: http://treelimbproducts.com/shop/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=5 It weighs half or less than the Alpine, locks in better and has the hooky/hangy thing built into it already. If you want one let me know and I'll get one to you as a Christmas present. You can pay me in Scotch when I see in in CO next Sept.
Actually my foam is about 3/4 of an inch up inside. I purpossfully leave them hanging low. You know how the Rages like to come open when in the foam... Hey this aint my first rodeo Wont have to worry bout that soon,,,gonna give the bloodrunners a go!! you almost hurt my feelings :p
