ive heard great things about them and that price tag looks unbeatable... they have a whole new line of models but the discontinued ones look just as good, anyone know anything about these bows? are the discontinued ones obsolete? i will spend an extra 2-300 if its that much more needed. thank you all in advanced have a good day (:

I just got a new Fireball that was on clearance from them, very nice bow. All I have ever owned have been Alpine bows. They are very underrated. If you do some research you will find that they are very good, have a great reputation, and are innovators in the industry. The only issue is you won't find many pro-shops that readily have parts for them, but they can tell you what to get from Alpine, you just have to order it. But how often do you need parts for your bow? Once it is set up it is good to go. I have never had any issues with any of my bows from them. I have no intention of shooting anything else.

I've been shooting a nitrous for a couple of years. Great bow no problems at all.

My first bow was a Teton Lite II from 2000 i believe. It was the hand-me-down that got me started. Even back then it was rated at 315 fps.
