One noticeable thing about these 18” high Mudlite’s is the fact no matter how long you wear them and even in warmer temps I found my feet to stay very dry. This I read is due to the new innovative AirCirc system which allows air to circulate inside the boot. This is a great innovative feature from LaCrosse and my feet appreciate it.
Using puncture proof and abrasion resistant Brush Tuff exterior and insulating neoprene allows LaCrosse to produce a boot that is 100% waterproof, stands up to the toughest environment’s and offers a complete scent proof boot. Great features for a fairly lightweight boot.
For those late fall early winter hunts the 3.5 mm of neoprene will help provide warmth in these cooler temps.
Weight of the both boots together is right at 5 lbs. and sharing in that weight is a nylon shank, a rubber cup outsole with built in floatable non-exposed rubber midsole adding comfort and performance. With a low profile 90 degree heel provides superior traction. A unique multi-directional lug pattern provides for excellent multi-surface grip and quick cleaning of the soles prior to stepping into your cabin.
The Cam-loc buckle allows you to customize your fit and easily and quickly made adjustments to your outerwear for the day.
My boots have my favorite camo, Mossy Oak® Infinity™. I feel it is well detailed with leaves, limbs, acorns, and branches layered over actual images of the woods to break up any hunters silhouette.
