Last year's Live From the Stand went live on Aug 14. Still a few weeks away but I am looking forward to that first post from 25 feet up a tree.
I will not be in the contest this year however will be participating more in the Live From the Stand forum. It's always nice to see successes, share successes and at times look and make sure other people are struggling killing a buck too. Season can't get here soon enough.
No freaking way I’m not the only one who reads the live thread pages at 4 am?!?!? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
This will be my first year signing up for the contest. Looking forward to it. I have been following live from the stand for 3 years or so. Love that thread. Little chief did kill a lot of deer but the highlight still for me was swamp killing that buck! That was an awesome day. And I got to post about my 9 pt I shot on the thread also. Always good to share the success and heart aches with each other. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Last year was my first time doing the contest, and what stood out to me was just getting to know a little bit about some other folks on this forum. Since I don't post a whole lot, it was cool keeping track of a select few and their seasons, along with telling them about mine. Got some encouragement after eating tag soup last year and blowing a couple of good chances.
Last year we had a killer team. Probably the most "in-to-it" team I've been on. Everyone participated in chatting, support, and educating each other. It was vast array of ages and experience levels and no one had the "better than you" mentality. I hope I can be on that kind of team again this year. Team 3 is going down!!!!!
Blood trails are much more fun to follow while thumbing “refresh” than the painstaking track job I endured in 2016... I enjoy waiting for the updates on here and sharing in the emotions of the up’s and down’s. But in the field - I’d just assume walk right to my deer and not have a dramatic track job thread... Just me. Lol
