I know the Patriots camp opens july 26th... Not to sure what to expect this year with my boys...been a interesting offseason we lost 5 of our top 6 recievers...IF gronk is ready to go week 1. Brady was supposed to have a stacked team for him these next few years from what ive heard from inside sources...but that's all out the window now. I think they can contend, but I don't have the confidence yet. I'm also lookin forward to seeing the progress of our defense as well.

who's your team and whats your expectations?

My team is San Diego. I think that we added a couple good players, T'eo will be an interesting development. I think that with the new coaching staff/ front office, along with some of the key additions, that this season rides on Rivers' shoulder

Green Bay added (only rookies of course) Datone Jones, Eddie Lacy, Jonathon Franklin and some O-lineman.

We released Charles Woodson and Desmond Bishop.

My thoughts? Thompson is a GENIUS so i hope he knows what hes doing. We didnt make any splashes thats for sure. If Lacy/Franklin can help establish our running game, then we could be in good shape. Its a contract year for Finley, so he should play well. Cobb is entering his third year so he should play well also. As far as defense, Nick Perry needs to step up on the outside opposite of Matthews so Matthews can do what he does.

Vikings. And to be honest, who knows! Each year I think they're going to do pretty well and they always seem to disappoint. I haven't really followed them at all over the offseason but time will tell.

Ravens. We will be busy repeating last year's Championship run with a QB under a new contract, young WR's ready to replace Boldin and a younger, faster defense than last year.

Rams. Decent draft this year but SF and Seattle are loaded in their division. Bradford needs to show that he's worthy of the hype and $$. So far, he's been very average.

    Da Bears.

With the new coach I figure they'll either compete for the division or bomb. It just depends how well Trestman adjusts after his time away from the NFL. If they can hang around and fall into a wild card spot I'd be happy, because once you're in the playoffs anything can happen.

I'll really miss seeing Urlacher in the middle. It's a shame they couldn't come to an agreement on a final year so he could end his career on a little better note. The defense is somewhat of a question mark. They'll be strong up front and should be decent on the back end, but the linebacker corps could be a liability. They signed some veterans that have bounced around, but they also drafted a couple of guys that are promising. Briggs will be Briggs, but the other spots worry me a bit.

The offensive line will look a bit different this year, but after the last couple of years that isn't a bad thing. If they can keep Cutler off his back and give him time to throw I expect the offense to surprise some folks this year. I really think that the offense Trestman runs will allow Matt Forte to shine. Brandon Marshall is a beast, but they really need at least one other receiver to step up and take some of the pressure off Marshall. I'm thinking Alshon Jefferey is that guy.

It will be interesting to see if Hester makes the team and if he does how well he performs now that he is focused solely on returning kicks and doesn't have to worry about trying to be a receiver.

Vikings! I have learned over the years not to have expectations. Just go in to the season hopeful and cheer for my team. But, I am more hopeful this year than I have been the last few. I still have fun watching and no matter what...I will not convert to a Packer fan. Just because I am now living in WI and about to marry a Packer fan, I am getting all this pressure. Not going to happen...lol.
