Folks we tend to make things more complicated than what they are, Justin asked if we should allow hunsucker to enter and count the next buck he shoots, not if we should allow the one he shot befor this contest. I am sure if you asked MH, the thought of entering the buck he already shot never crossed his mind to use for this contest, He is a player. As far as BHB goes, I would have loved to had him on my Team, very few young men work as hard or are as dedicated as he is to meet his goals, But in reality his season is over. I like playing cards with close friends, but dont let them keep the ones they want befor we start a game.
Like I said...... Let them in and count their bucks, just re-draw the teams... Its pretty simple if you ask me.
I say let them both in. Its all for fun anyway and its not like we all didnt know Mike would shoot a slob somewhere in the US. It was more of a matter of time. He may shoot a bigger buck later this season, who knows.
How about Justin makes the call, period. that'll end the squabbling amoungst us. Justin make the decision and end the drama. Besides, it doesn't matter if there in and their bucks count, TEAM 13 will still smokem all!
Dont make me out like some bad guy here, like I dont want them to play. I assume Hunsucker and the others will get to play when Justin has enough alts to pick from, RuttNutt has been in Maryland working and will be in tonight and sign up as an alt, if he gets picked, he gets picked, if he dont he dont, its that simple and he knows it because he did not sign up in time. As far as the card game goes, some have money in their pocket, Bullet Hole is tapped out. I have no problem letting him in, as long as no one minds another team starting out with a 185+ point lead.
I don't mind being penalized. I asked to join the contest after i had shot my deer and i don't really think that it would be fair (not that it matters) to join the contest with 165" of antler already on the board. I offered to just start fresh and if i get the opportunity to kill another buck in MO or NE then we can count that. One thing is for sure, its just for fun and i don't want to cause any problems. If its too much of a hassle i will just watch! :d
I actually don't think that BHB had any intentions of joining the contest, i think his name was just brought up for example..i may be wrong. I asked to join the conest and offered to start over to make it fair. I think if you guys decided to let me in after i killed a buck and let it count, then everyone would have be be allowed in late even if they only decided to enter since they killed a big deer...you get what im saying? I guess the first question is: BHB, are you asking to be in the contest? If so, do you have another tag? I dont think it would be a good idea to let us join the contest late with our bucks already on the ground and have them count.
Hahaha...well whatever! I don't care what happens as long as i can have some fun with some of you guys. I would rather be in this contest than the HNI contest because i know most of the people on this forum and i know i wont get stuck with a bunch of guys i dont know! Let Justin decide what he wants to do...if i have to sit out this year its nobodys fault but my own!
Ok Well as for BHB I'll ask one question. Knowing he had one tag and has already scored, when did he apply for the contest, before the date of the kill or after? It's like moving "ALL IN" after you see the others cards if he signed up later. Now if he plans to hunt another State let him in the next buck counts. If not and he signed up "post-kill" I have to say no, sorry.
Here is my thing.... This is a new message board and at this time is still invitation only. A lot of guys just hadn't heard of this place yet. I say let anyone in who wants in until the day that the alt list is closed whether they have shot something or not. I say if Hunsucker wants to enter his deer allow him. I say if Hunsucker wants to register his next one if he shoots one, let him. If BHB wants in, let's take him and add that toad to the harvest thread. I am in the contest to have fun. Having these guys in our contest will add to the overall enjoyment of the contest. So like I said earlier, in the words of Mr. Snoop Dogg.... It ain't no fun if my homies can't have none.
