    Ok,

So I've voted and I'm on my way to work and I figure nobody will notice if I add another 10 minutes to my time away....

I stop at Wally World and see that they are selling mechanical broadheads for 6.97 for a 3 pak.

I bought two pax of them and am going to see how they shoot...currently I'm shooting American Sonics fix blades and they shoot about 2 inches low and 4 inches to the right compared to field points in my rig....

I've opened one of the packs to examine them and they look to be pretty wicked.

Anyone ever used an Allen Spyder ?

I have found most Allen products to be rather cheap, and I'm not talking about price.

I bought them out of curiosity myself, needless to say they sucked Lol. 4 out of every 5 I shot had blades fall off. They did fly accurate, the are just cheap, and NOT well made. I would never consider using them on an animal that I wanted to quickly and humanely kill.

Use them for the annoying squirrels! Those things are really getting to me this year!
I swear that the deer have gotten the ability to turn into them.

I would start off by saying that if you broadheads are flying that much different then your field tips you need to do a little fine tuning on your bow.

I can go from field tips to my montecs G5 or muzzy 3 blades without any adjustment.

    Thanks everybody!!!!

I shot them last night and they do fly true....well 2 out of 3 did...the first one obviously opened in flight as the the entry hole showed all three blades.....

I'll keep looking for a broadhead that I can get to group.....

I shot eight arrows into a 2 inch group dead center of the target at 20 yards, so I feel good about my bow and arrows together but have to find a hunting head that will do the job....

    Any suggestions ?

If I tune my bow more how will that impact my fieldpoints?
