I had done my scouting this winter for spots to shed hunt. I found a couple fields that the deer were working heavy and asked the farmer if I could go out on them to look for antlers. He smiled and said "please! go pick those damn flat tires up for me!" So I looked on a bean field for a couple hours, then went to a woods near there to check some heavy trails I'd seen. It was getting dark so I headed back to my car across this guys field. I stopped in amazment when I first seen this. The first thought that came to mind was "the other side CAN'T be far away" then I turned to my right and 12 ft away was this! After thanking the GOOD LORD, I took lots of pictures and went home with my BEST FIND ever. Here is a picture of both ATL It was definately worth celebrating that night! My girlfriend was sweet enough to pose with them for a good picture the next day. The 5 pt side went 69 5/8" and the 4 pt side went 62 5/8". So with a conservative 18" spread that be dam close to 150"!
Nice find! Its always great when they are laying by each other, it doesnt drive you crazy looking for the match!
DAN, I found them in Minnesota. It's not as easy to find them here as it is in North Dakota. Too much woods for them to hide in Minnesota. But when you do find them its pretty rewarding. What part of Ontario are you from?
Great sheds !!!! And we all thank you for having the girl friend pose with them instead of you !!!!!!! Tim
