Coach Peterson must have ice water flowing through his veins! Fourth and nine calling a fake punt.Great win for Boise State.

Huge props to the Broncos but even more my best friend from H.S. and College .. Jeff Choate, Boise States Special teams and Linebacker coach that dialed up that fake punt play!

Jeff and I grew up together out in the "sticks" played H.S. football and college ball together and coached H.S. football together ... I gotta give my bud big props! Sorry guys I've been keeping my mouth shut pretty much all college football season just hoping the BSU Broncos would silence all the critics for the 2nd TIME!

Jeff and I below pictured this summer past summer pike fishing down on my docks, Jeff has a summer cabin 10 miles from my house here in Northern Idaho, He spends all his free time up here. He just texted me two days ago and told me to get my snowmobiles ready, he was gonna need a 4-5 day get away after the Fiesta bowl!

Way to go Boise, the state of Idaho is rockin!

While it may have been a big win, I really wish that they had paired TCU vs. Florida and Boise vs. Cincy (or vise-versa). They only way these non BCS conference teams are going to truly quiet their critics permanently is to have the chance to beat the BCS conference teams. Beating one another will, unfortunately, do little for their reputation

Congrats to BSU. I was sort of pulling for TCU, but like somebody else said, its too bad they both couldn't have been paired against somebody else instead of each other.

while i agree with the sentiment, did you see what florida did to cincy??? they friggin OWNED every aspect of that game... save a couple pity scores that the gators 'allowed' at the end it was practically a shutout... had it been BSU or TCU in that game it likely would have been worse... neither of these teams really wanted to play the likes of florida... cincy maybe but they were obviously overrated and completely out of their league...

that being said, it was a fun game to watch and a good win for bsu...

You would think their band could get a little more into the game.

    Why so sad?

I truly wonder if Boise State or TCU could hang in with teams like Alabama,Texas.Florida,Ohio State,Penn State etc.Not in any way looking to diminish their accomplishments.
From a scheduling point of view it seems like even most of the consistent power house teams have do not have that many top 20 opponents on their schedules.
I enjoy the college game so much more than the pro's.The enthusiasm, the ceremony, the fans etc.so much more fun.
Very happy for BSU.It will be interesting to see the final BCS rankings when it is all over.
