Has anyone ever heard of or seen a deer like this before? I saw this pic and had to post it to find out.
I've seen that picture before as well as quite a few others. It's a melanistic whitetail. They're actually somewhat common in parts of Texas. From Wikipedia:
I remembered reading about this in a hunting magazin awhile back, I googled it and found the same image that was in the magazin. If I remember right this was taken in Texas as well.
