    Hey guys,
I see a lot of albino mounts taken by older hunters. I was just wondering if it is still legal to take an albino deer? Google couldn't really answer my question. I was just wondering if shooting albino deer was still an option.

Also have you guys seen any albinos in the stand? I can find a couple videos on youtube but I haven't known anyone personally who has seen one recently.

    Let me know. Thanks

Do you mean albino or white deer? Because both exist.

    Regulations differ state to state.

I didn't know there was a difference between white and albino. Can you tell the difference in the field?

Albinos have pink ear, nose, and red eyes, white deer have normal deer features and regular eyes.... Like others stated its legal in defferent states, I know piebalds are becoming more common around here.

I haven't seen a White deer other than pics. It is rumored that we have a calico on my property. My brother spotted it from his stand towards the end of the rutt.

We have 3 white does running around and this year they had 1 white fawn and 2 pale brown fawns along with 2 regular brown fawns. I lost count last year how many times I saw the 3 white does. I'm in the CWD zone in Wisconsin and white and albino deer are legal but we aren't shooting the white does but there fawns this year are in trouble if they walk by. Here is a picture of the 3 white deer.

Legal in Southern Wisconsins CWD zone... I have one mounted on the wall, and missed another on film. I have about 50 white deer on film around Jefforson county Wisconsin. But most have now been killed since they became legal to shoot.
