I will be moving back to the north Alabama area sometime in the next year. Just wondering what areas in the north part of the state fellow AL hunters think produce the biggest bucks for our state. I've heard some talk mentioning the Jackson County area and also the NW corner around Lamar and Marion counties. I plan on doing some hunting around Wheeler and Bankhead WMAs and purchasing some land in the area. If you had your choice of location to purchase land for deer in the north part of the state where would you choose?
Ive lived in bama 26 yrs best huntin to me is north i hunt in a club in marion and have private land in same county marion lamar jackson fayatte best places and the sam r murphy has good hunting also
