Got an airstash sd card reader for Christmas, and just had a chance to test it. Worked perfect. It is a small wifi hotspot for the card you put in, and with the free app that you download you can check your trail cameras in the stand with your phone. I'm excited to get a chance to use it for the shed and turkey season coming up. Thought I'd share this awesome device for you guys to take a look at. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Been using the original version for a couple years now and I love it. I'll be using it to stream movies to my iphone when I fly out to PA next week
It is a small device that creates it's own wireless signal, and after you put in an sd card it will send the info on the card to any device that picks up wifi and has the airstash app. I'm gonna love it for checking cameras on my way to the stand. I have and iPhone 4S and it works great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Do you have to have a monthly subscription. Can someone send me a link cause I've never heard of this Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It doesn't connect to the web so there is no subscription. It creates a wireless signal (like bluetooth) to connect to a device.
Initially they can out for around $120 i think. I've been able to find them online for as low as $65. I'll probably get a 2.0 when my original's battery becomes weaker.
they had em on woot.com a few weeks ago for pretty dang cheap. seems like $50ish range if i remember correctly.
My concern is the amount of free space remaining on my phone versus what may be on the card as daytime pics are all 2-4 meg Love the idea...wonder if there was a way you could push them to your cloud through the phone as to not steal/exceed all the memory

How can you view all the pics since they take up so much space (with day times being a few megs each)?
I've had the original for a few years but it stopped loading photos to my iPhone since iso7 came out. Customer service was no help so I just bought the new one. Really great devise.
Nothing is uploaded to your phone unless you add it. It all stays on the SD card you just view them from your smart phone.
