I used to play airsoft all the time. I'm thinking about getting back into it, and my cousin (8) wants me to start playing paintball with him. Anybody play either one?
Used to play paintball but wanted to spend money on other things, plus not many people played in my area. Still trying to sell all my paintball crap. Airsoft seems cheaper but a couple of guys that I work with are real gear *****s when it comes to that. They won't hesitate to spend $300 on a special kind of vest. Seems pretty cool but Ill never get into it.
I used to play paintball back in the day. It was pretty fun, but I was young and didn't have enough money to invest to be good at it.
I played paintball for a little while, then I got to the point where I couldn't afford it anymore. I recently got into airsoft and I like it a lot better than paintball. Much cheaper when you compare the cost of paintballs and co2 to bbs and rechargeable batteries. Plus, the guns are more realistic and you can upgrade them a lot more if that's something you would want to do. Sent from my HTC One X+ using Tapatalk 2
I use to play paintball everyweekend, was spending about 150 dollars a week on paint and it was getting out of hand. This was like 10 years ago and I was a poor little highschool kid but was def a good time. Hobby was replaced with archery.
airsoft is cooler because you get to wear more realistic items and it's cheaper. It just sucks when there is no proof you shot someone. NEver done airsoft, I do like the idea of wearing safety glasses and not a full mask. I did paintball, both were fun. Can't help ya, ive been debating the same thing in my head for years.
Played untill I did the whole sponsor thing and then it just got to be too much with work and school. Airsoft just isn't fast enough for me, speedball is my game
I used to play tournament paintball went to a few national tournaments too NPPL in HB California, tampa florida, and even here at Gillette stadium. I even ran a very profitable field as well. was fully sponsored, only had to pay for flights and food and hotels. good times, actually amazing times!!!!!! but then I got married and I couldn't commit to multiple weekly practices, plus playing tournaments a few times monthly, plus work. sooooo now I just kill deer! cant even think of playing again because I would want it all or nothing!!
