Let me ask you something, when you do dishes or empty the dishwasher and you put the silverware away, you open the drawer and see a divider a place for forks, knives, and spoons, if you have a deluxe version it has room for bigger serving spoons, salad forks and a miscellaneous bin crossways accost the top. You would never consider just putting the silverware in where ever you felt like or what ever you deemed easier or what you felt like, so keep that in mind when you post.:eek2:

More off topic tantrums (that we have come to expect) Let the adults talk air rifles. Pout elsewhere.:bigcry:

Back on topic. OP, play around with pellet weight. We had a blast experimenting with pellet weights from 4 grains all the way up to 11. We shot them through our chronograph to plot KE and MO. We settled on the 10 grain hollow point based on the data. It was not purchased as a target plinker but rather a killer. The heavier pellets have more down range and cross wind accuracy and when placed behind the ear of even a 15 pound coon, takes them out.

When it comes to pellet rifles, like with archery, projectile selection is key to performance. Testing is required to establish the pellet that your rifle likes best. Then buy pellets that provide consistency. Not all 10 grain pellets are the same.
