Have you ever had your air ductwork cleaned in your home? Did it seem to help with indoor air quality? How much does it cost? Is it something that really needs to be done and if so how often?

Over time a lot of nasty crap gathers in your air ducts. Sure you should clean it and maybe even inject some type of air treatment.

I have had it done twice, both times it was after I purchased a house.

I think it was like $400. They got a lot of stuff out of them, the one house they even got a couple toys out of the duct.

I do not know if it made the air quality any better but getting all of that dust and dirt out of there had to be a good thing.
