It's that time of year again, time for the fawns to show up. I saw this little guy from my bedroom window tonight after I got home from work. I had seen him with his mama this morning while I was getting ready for work. He must have spent the whole day in my food/weed plot. Can you spot him? How about now? There he is!! He is all wet from a thunderstorm that just blew thru.
Great pictures John, they are cute lil buggers. I had one in my side yard on Saturday but when I started approaching to take a photo it took off through my yard and into the woods out back.
Wow. That is great set of pics. How did you get so close? Ain't it a bit early for fawns. At least here in Wisconsin I think it is.
Nice John. I usually run into a fawn every turkey season but not this year. I've got some great pictures through the years and most times momma ain't too far off, usually blowing so we move out quickly. Was momma around this youngin?

Rob: I didn't see or hear mama in the afternoon, but mama was with him in the morning. Tribal: No I can't see him in the pics either, but I did see him twitch his ear from my window. He's there somewhere.
