Bears fan here too, this was season was nothing short of painful lol. I do believe though that if Cutler can get his mind and arm controlled he will be good, he has the arm for it.

Who cares.... the numbers mean nothing... Favre isn't the best QB.... not even close.... and it really doesn't matter if he comes back or not... the Vikings aren't making the SB.... too many teams that are better now... he had his chance last season and it didn't work out.

Drama? How Is It drama If he hasn't decided yet on playing? Favre don't have to draw attention. The media and people who dislike him are the ones making this drama like. I hope like heck he comes back and gives my Vikes another shot at getting In the playoffs. If he doesn't come back, oh well. It was damn fun when he was here on OUR side rather then on the other side.

    Good post 2 Lunger!!!

Name another NFL QB that we don't know the status of whether he's plans to play this yr or not.

    Now multiply that by 3yrs.

    = drama.

The drama is because he has every chance to dispell the rumors. He could come out and say "I'm retiring for good" or "I'm playing again" but he doesn't. He makes the choice to let it go just because it draws attention to him. I use to respect the guy, but the way he brings the drama to himself has taken some of that away. Would Joe Montana or John Elway ever do the same thing? No, they wouldn't want that distraction to be brought upon their team!

I don't know Jeff and don't really care to be honest. Why should WE care really? Does every other athlete that's retired and then unretired get tagged with the drama thing?

So....name another "retiree/un-retiree" who does it, perennially.

    Didn't think so.

He knows if he's playing or not. He has made his decision. Now he's sitting back and going to watch the drama unfold. Almost like a game for him. Why he can't just get it over with and say one way or another is beyond me. There is no "suspense" anymore to the average football fan. I think the majority could care less. A few years ago yeah it may have been a little more interesting to follow. It's beyond old now to be honest. It's almost embarrasing.

lol at you all who are making a drama out of it. Vikings are not requesting a decision so why do you care. If he comes back we have our best chance at post season compared to what we have now. Favre has not been on any shows or interviews stating he may or may not return. Just because the guy can't go have surgery without anyone knowing isn't his problem. Kind of rediculous how many of you are making a bigger deal than it really is. If surgery goes well and he feels good he's coming back for a final season. If he does not feel well after the surgery he won't be commiting to playing. There, the drama you are creating is settled.

So can everybody just STFU about him?

We'll see how long that lasts.

Question. Why did Farve wait until the end of May to have surgery?

I hope he holds out longer than even he expects to, just to stay under the hater's skin a little longer. I love him for this.

There's a contingency that would utilize his game-used jock to sift their morning cup 'o joe.

    Just never understood it, personally.

Personally I would want the team I cheer for to have every member of the team to be at all of the OTA's, Mini Camps and of course Training Camp whenever possible. Also, I believe he is the one who posted on his site that he had the surgery. If he does come back I'm not so sure it will be his final season.;)

Honestly I beleive he is so sore after the season that he really does not know if he wants to do it anymore. Came late April he starts feeling better, body is healing and he thinks maybe one more year.

I am a Packer fan but Ted Thompson is a disaster, the last time the Packers made it o the NFC championship game was the same year he passed on Moss and failed to sign Vinatterri after they were both ripe for the picking.

Any chance either of those two have an affect on that game????

Gotta admit the way he (Thompson) has restocked that O line and added a boatload of depth to the secondary is impressive.

Your assuming Moss would have even considered playing in GB. Just because Brett wanted him? As far as that game and having an effect on it that would depend on "which" Moss decided to show up that day. The guy who could go down as one of the best ever or the guy who takes alot of plays off and sulks if he isn't getting the ball. We will never know.

Because he wanted to. I know, simple answer, but it's his body and his decision whether he wants to play or not. Kinda just like it's your decision whether you want to lay your bow down this season or not.;)

Id say he wants to play but has days he isnt sure he can............days he believes he feels good enough and others that he hurts so bad that he syas the heck wit it. Perhaps he just wants to be sure before announcing anything.

Personaly I hope he comes back and realy dont care when he announces it
