I put it at 95% he is coming back. I am soooo glad the Packers have Rodgers all locked up and don't have to deal with this anymore. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5209161 Good luck Queens.......:p
Just wish the Packers had not given up over 1000 yards passing in the in the Steeler and Cardinal games. If that becomes a trend and it might it will be a long season. Lets be honest once teams had a chance to study our new D it got shredded.
Nothing more ammusing to me then Packer fans who talk smack against Farve. You all worshipped him while he was there and then spit on him when he leaves. True loyalty. You can't find that any where else other than Cubs fans.
I can use the same logic. You guys were the same ones that ripped on Farve when he was with the Packers and now you love him. No valid point there at all. He has always had his drawbacks. He is a great QB. Having said that,m the same flaws you guys chuckled about when he was with the Packers are the same flaws you were able to experience yourself in the playoffs last season. I loved the younger to mid career Farve. Something changed with HIS attitude in his later years as a Packer and then MY attitude changed about him. This happened before he was left go. I hated how Farve make the whole franchise wait for him to decide for months and months if he was going to return. I'm just saying I'm glad the Queens get to deal with the drama now and not the Packers. We have a good, young, QB. Can you honestly be happy about the way he is handling this? It's freaking May 21st and you STILL don't know if he is going to play or not. How can you defend that behavior? I certainly could not defend it when he was with the Packers and honestly thought it was a load of crap.
I liked him then, love him now, and will only cease to love him when he ceases to annoy ex fans. I will feel the exact same way when McNabb lights up the Eagles this year.
I'll ask again. Explain to me how it is okay for it to be May 21 and you still don't know if he is coming back yet?
I read today that he told southern miss that if they make the college baseball world series again this year he will definatly come back...they said nothing of it, but he told reporters about it. For the record I hope he comes back.
Your missing the point. As a Bears fan I've always hated seeing him take the field. After seeing what his franchise did to him I can do nothing but cheer the man on as he rubs it in your faces and you guys talk bitter about a man who probably did more for that franchise since Bart Starr. Go ahead and hate him if it helps you guys sleep at night though. I only saw him make one mistake in the playoffs. I saw his kicker and defense make about 20, but no one talks about that. I saw the refs make over 100 with allowing late hits and cheap shots on a QB. I haven't heard the Queens ***** yet about whether Brett is coming back or not. I believe they are smart enough to know that he will return and go along with the game plan of getting everyone else ready. Doesn't bother me at all and for some reason I haven't heard a Vikings fans say much of it either. Either he plays or he doesn't. Take it for what it is. The thing of you Packers fans vs. Farver reminds me of a nasty divorce. All I'm saying is I find it ammusing how loyal you guys claim to be. To hell with thanking him for what he did all those years and a ring, huh?
we have many more months of the favre playing or not playing to listen to he'll play or he won't, either way the Packers will be winning the division and the super bowl
He retired. Period. The franchise made the right move. The Packers did not dump on Farve. The Packers moved on due to Farve's own decision. Remember, he is not more than the team in GB and they will keep it that way. And I support their decision. I feel the Packers are MUCH better off with a excellent young QB rather than having to deal with the drama of a 40 year old man. What I find assuming is you think if the tides were turned your fan base would be acting different somehow. Your naive if you think that.
OK...... Dear Brett....thanks.....now go away so I can start loving you again! signed, majority of Packer fans.
I cant help but cheer for him in purple... unless hes playing us. Then its Mr Rodgers Neighborhood all the way ....i know ive said it hundreds of times, but last year was the best season a quarterback ever had. EVER. New(er) offense, new players, NO training camp, returning from injury. And a 4200, 33 and 107 season. WOW. Did i mention 40 years old? And about the interception....Favre was trying to make a play, he always trys to make a play, his team was letting him down that day and he took the responsibility to make a play. Nothing wrong with that. carry on :p
Yeah...but you're short-changing him. He's numero uno in crying; sniveling and being a downright pigskin diva. I'm talking the most prolific prima-donna the game has ever known. Somebody tell Brett to just suck it up, put on his big girl shoes....and play one more year. Loving hating him makes me watch more.
I think he still has it and can win. He only made one bad play in the last game. Still haunts me on a cross field off balance zero percentage pass that wasn't necessary.
