So they've been trying to control this AFib I have. They say they want to give me more medicine but can't because it'll lower my blood pressure too much. They cleaned out the heart arteries, stents. Now they want to do a pace maker.... so they can give me more medicine to slow my heart down. I feel like I missed an episode or something. Slow my heart down so they can give me a pacemaker to speed it up. If I were a smart man I'd figure they lost it. LOL Well anyway, come next Wed I get wired forever. The one thing it will do is speed my heart up when I'm exerting more energy. They say I'll beable to go back to doing what I used to without missing a beat. Bummer is I'm on restricted duty for a couple weeks. Not suppose to drive(that won't work), can't shoot my bow, play golf or lift anything over 15-20 pounds. Can't raise my arm over my shoulder. That sucks with less than 2 months to bow season. I'll just have to take close shots. Anyway, I'm going bionic next Wednesday.
Good Luck and I will be the mother here...listen to what your Dr tells you about your recovery. Like Greg says...Don't over do it or your recovery time may be longer than you would like it to be. Prayers and positive thoughts coming your way!
