I do know what ACL stands for (that was part of the joke).

    Wish for a season-ending injury?

My.....but you guys have very vivid imaginations.

I have respect for him and he is a tough sob, but this stuff is getting rediculus it's always something now leading up to season that finally pursways him to want to play again. I know it's not the money, but I think he gets a high off wondering what people are thinking if he's playing or not.

I just get a kick out of how Favre "moves the meter"
Love him or hate him...he is good for TV, good for business, good for the NFL.
NFL is strictly entertainment to me...and it is WAY more entertaining with Favre...I just went from watching Zero Vikings games, to watching any prime time ones that are on.
Big Bears fan - but Go Favre...

Minnesota was the better team. With or without Favre.

    The Packers made the choice.

I guess Midnight and Snowflake are safe from me then. Besides, I would hate to make a grown man's lip quiver.

You insult the intelligence of the posters in this thread. You remember posts form months and even years ago, but expect these folks to forget posts from this very thread!? lol

You are creating a cheer for Brett to suffer an ACL injury and then later comment that you hope he cant make it 8 weeks into the seaon. But these guys have a vivid imagination?

    Wow.

By the way, real funny "joke".

I am not a huge Favre fan myself, but would not wish a career ending injury on anyone. Again, your true character shines through.

sidebar - this weekend i blew out some of my Medial Cruciate Ligament when I dislocated my knee playing street hockey with my sons... ouch!!! kinda threw a wrench in my running/biking lately... docs tell me ~6 weeks before I get back at it and nothing serious for several months to be safe...

Not a Farve fan, but if ya have another 200" running around I'll be more than happy to help:moose:

    On the subject of Farve:

He was a drama queen about it last year, but I really think this is more media driven and not as much Farve driven. I'm hoping he comes back, mainly because I want to see Brooking sack Favre:poke:

Not that I really care about this subject... but...

Minnesota has the option of Jackson or Favre... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..

Who do you think they should go with?

I think that about sums up this whole thread.

Whether I'm a casual fan of the Vikes; the NFL; a teammate of Jackson/Favre or a member of another NFL team.....

I'd have a LOT more respect for the Vkings/my teammates....if they chose Jackson.

You think T.O. isn't a better receiver than plenty of guys that he got passed over for? My disgust for Brett Favre has nothing to do with him as a player.

That bar's set pretty low, apparently. Go back to page 1 and re-read what I said. I said "DL" - not "career ending injury".

If you really think I didn't know what ACL stands for, then I can see how your "intelligence" may be insulted. That part was a joke. I honestly don't care whether you believe that or not. If it makes you feel more jilted as a bretty-boy to believe I want his career ended.....then by all means, have at it!
