OJ was a great player. I am also a huge Pete Rose fan. Merit for me is in how they played the game when they played it. It upsets me that OJ turned into an alleged murderer and thief, and seeing Pete bet on Baseball was crushing but they played a mean game.

As stated, I would love to see you talk crap to his face. We all know how that would end now don't we Jeff;)

    With Brett crying? I dunno.

Listen, Raceway....."I know my guy's a female genetalia, but what about you" - is about 3rd grade. You can do better, I think.

    LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had several forum members to my home. I've also met several.

    Yep....lol, you nailed me.

You're getting your panties in a wad.....because I don't like your favorite football player? So, you resort to ad hominem attacks, based on things I say about a sports figure????

    Think about that.

Think about this, the people you invited to your house were internet friends;) It also seems some of those people might have found out who the real Jeff is from some forum posts I have seen in the last year.

There is nothing like a guy who will never have the ability to play professional sports slamming a guy who has records in the game and will be in the hall of fame. The man has played a lot more games than most quarterbacks with injuries that would have you on the couch instead of hunting. I admire how great you think you are in your quest to call this man a pansy. Shows your character and lack of understanding for what it takes to play the game or any sport at a professional level;)

Do I like his drama, hell no! Do I want to see him throw more touchdowns and make the playoffs, for god's sake yes!

Raceway--from what I remember about Jeff and his bashing of Brett over the years is that he cannot stand all the drama that Brett creates. He finds it disrespectful to other professional athletes, the fans, and the very nature of the game. At least that has been my take....

Here is the way I see it. This is America. Jeff has the right to be bothered and comment negatively on BF's behavior. He did that.

You choose not to be disturbed by Favre's behavior. That is the bottom line. It's that simple.

No one doubts he is fun to watch playing.

That is fine, but to say that you hope he doesn't make it 8 games????? Only D-Bag would hope someone had a career ending injury.

    Exactly.

But, you'd think I swore at Jesus.

And Redna, Brett's been to my house. If you haven't had an invite, there's a reason!

I like Brett. If he has the skills to sit around, make his own decisions on his own time frame, thats fine with me. I haven't seen much drama out of him this year. What I have seen in ESPN pissing all over themselves to get the first rumor on the air waves.

That's kind of been my take on this as well....I know he cried, and changes his mind alot, but it seems to me the whole situation has been largely created by ESPN for a story.

Hey Jeff, my wife says quit bashing on Brett or she's gonna come out to NC and kick your ass! LOL jking.. Hey, some hate him, some like him, I personally really like Brett, always have, get a kick out of his ways.. It doesnt bother me that you dont like him, but dont wish him season ending injury thats horsechit right there...He'd be welcome at my campfire anytime. Finally, there will be very few in the history of the highest level of football on the planet that can measure up to what Farve has brought to the table year in and out. He produces, period. and he has brought natural skills and talents that just don't come around very often... last year he did amazing things I mean come on, 33 and 7 td to int's.. at 40 it was even more amazing.. hes as tough as an S.O.B. as they come to play the amount of games he has for so long.. he is an Ironman, you can't argue with his toughness. ESPN has to jump on his story...because they know they can get so many fans stirred up and tuning in... just like yourself and myself... they get all the haters and the fans of his.. they know he sells big tv ratings and tickets..

Umm...aren't we talking about the guy who doesn't miss games...ever?

Funny...all these bold predictions of not holding up...I'd bet on Favre playing every game before I would put $ on many of the young Qb's in the league.
