I usually don't get involved or start threads like this, but the topic has my attention as I had never heard of it before. I spent a few hours reading about agenda 21 this morning and it is really scary stuff, especially as a rural landowner. Essentially, it seems the UN plans to limit Americans in what they can do with their own property as well as prohibit Americans from using hundreds of thousands of acres of public land. They call it "sustainable development." I am still very new to the topic but have others read up on this? In northern NH I can see examples of this happening as the Feds are buying up thousands of acres. Like I said, I need to educate myself further, but I really hope this stops/ doesn't happen. If you haven't heard about it, look it up.
I read a few different articles and watched a couple videos on it. It is interesting to say the least and I believe it has some validity. I really have a hard time believing all of it though. Here's a map of what the UN wants preserved. My house is smack dab in the midst of some of the red areas. Will they kick me off my own land? I don't see this happening.
