So I have been watching, with great amusement, the "Contest idea for next year?" thread and I got real curious about the ages of the fellas on here. So lets hear it and why you think that your age benefits your hunting? I am 39, not sure if that will ever help me. I am young enough to be out there all day, but old enough that my "functions" could keep me from that.
I'm 34. My age really don't benefit me any, the expierence I've gotten In the woods has benefited me. Just not this year!!
HAY!!! Watch it bud. Im only 2(checks ID...)24! I have all BUT "destroyed" my knees. Hey! I'm one of seben!!!
I'm currently 20, but went ahead and marked 21 because that's how old I'll be next year when the contest rolls around. I don't feel my age benefits my hunting performance at all other than possibly being in better shape physically. I've been hunting since I was about 12 I'd guess, and have several years of experience, but 12 years is nothing compared to how long some of you guys here have been hunting.
I am 33 and dont think my age benefits me or puts me at a disadvantage I've been hunting since i was 6, even though knowledge and skill are a factor in hunting I think that the areas we have to hunt and the time that we get to hunt are more of a factor, because i have seen guys that have never been hunting in their lives go on there first trip and kill the biggest buck ive ever seen because their family owns the land they went hunting on and noone has been hunting on there in 20 years
I'll be 32 in February. I don't think age has anything to do with it, just the years of experience and the ability to learn from mistakes.
I'll be the first to post in the "Over 50" group! However, I'll take old age and treachery over youth any day!
I can't seem to get the poll to work for me. Won't let me vote. So, either my computer screwed up or..... I voted already and forgot I did. I'm 29. (give or take a decade)
