I killed this deer last yr...i shot him on October 6th with my bow and hit him in the "no zone" above the lungs so i tracked and never found him. I saw him 4 other times in the next 3 weeks but could never get a shot at him again with my bow...so on november 7th he came running a doe right by me so i hit my grunt call and he went out of sight so i hit my grunt call again and he came back to about 50 yds pissed as could be and i dropped him in his tracks...he had the scars from my shot earlier in the year. Great story for sure.

Not to be a smart a** but why do you have face paint and camo on for a picture of you and a mounted deer?

Im no deer expert but im gonna say 3 or 4? But he sure is nice congrats on a awesome buck and you shot him on my Birthday so that makes him even better :)

where was this buck taken? how much did it weigh? any trail cam pics of it on the hoof before you shot it? Its hard to guess age with just a shoulder mounted straight on picture. Based on rack alone I'm gonna say 2-3 years old.
