If he has been eating steroids for breakfast lunch and dinner, I would say 3.5. Looks like a 5.5 year old but hard to tell laying down, he does have the head that I typically see on older deer. What did he score, Around 128"????

He looks like a 50-55 year old man on the decline......just like many of you old farts on here. I would say he is 5.5 years old.

5 1/2...I don't think you would be going through the trouble of having this buck aged if you didn't think he was a muture deer.

With the pressure we get I'm saying 2.5 maybe 3.5 hard to say without the horns.

My first instinct says 4.5, but my gut says 3.5. Doesnt look like there is much back sway, but it could be because it is laying down.

If i remember correctly this was your beautiful Pa 10 point. Dang neck looks as big around as the rest of its body. I'm gonna say 3.5.

Here is a head close up for those of you referencing his head, and a nose close up for Jeff referencing it.

Come on Scott, how old is he? I am about 99.9995% sure he is either 4.5 or 5.5

This was the break down that he told my Taxidermist. Tooth wear varies by area and diet so it is not an exact science and leaves plenty of margin for error.

    He has a:
    10% probability of being 3.5
    80% probability of being 4.5
    20% probability of being 5.5

So it would appear that the buck was 4.5 years old.

I figured him at 3.5 when I shot him but didn't put a whole lot of thought or effort into it, I really didn't care one way or the other to be honest. Taxi thought it was 4.5 and sent the jaw bone out "to prove me wrong".... Some friend eh? :d Basking in his glory that he was right and I was wrong. :busted:
