Ok, so today I heard from my buddy with what this buck was aged at via tooth wear (although not the most accurate tactic). He sent a lower jaw bone out somewhere (no idea where) to have it aged... Using this photo, age this buck. (I know, you would rather see it standing broadside, but I don't have a photo like that) I removed the antlers from the photo so you could concentrate on it's body and not be swayed one way or the other from them. Let's see your best guess if you want to play.... I will update later.
Kinda tough to see muscle structure.......everything is pushed up making it appear bigger than it is.........I'm gonna say 4 1/2.
PA. A mix of a little crop, some acorn and obviously browse. Not a lot of crop in the area though. A couple small fieds.
What county was it shot in Scott? He looks to be 4.5 y.o. to me, gray face and a pretty good roman nose.... neck swelled up... its really hard to tell. Face looks alot like a buck I killed several years ago that was guessed to be over 5 y.o. by tooth wear... hard to say!
