    Hey guys, looking if someone can help me put an age to this deer. I'm thinking 3 1/2, new to this though. I know the angles aren't great but any help will be appreciated. He's the biggest one we have pictures of and I'm hoping he takes a stroll by my stand soon :tu:

    Educate me please. He doesn't have that belly of older deer but what says 2 1/2 to you? What are you looking at? He won't turn around so we can check out his teeth so what are the conditions that determine age?

    belly, neck , proportions, dont try to look at the rack but sometimes main beam length and mass can be characteristic of older deer. sway in back.

    Alright thanks guys. I was hoping he was a little older but he is definitely big enough to make me more than happy. Hes going down!
