Age these please!

    What do you guys think these two deer are age wise...I don't think either will get a pass beens I haven't shot a good deer yet but they both look fairly young to me...[​IMG]

    I don't care if they were fawns, those bucks wouldn't get passed if they walked under my stand. Not even a second thought. Age doesn't really matter when they get that big.

    id say the top one is 4, and the bottom one id saw more of a 5 year old

    Both in my opinion exhibit neck/brisket connection, back line, front muscle development and overall girth that extends throughout of a 4+ year old..the second says older to me as well. In that transformation between race horse make up to more of a fully mature deer. Who knows for certain though, harvest one, and have it aged.

    What he said.... They could be older than that though. I doubt they are any younger than 4.5 though.

    I'll agree with you Covey. I think that top buck is a big 3.5. If it weren't Central KS I'd think he was 4.5. That second buck is definitely fully mature.

    top looks about 4ish and bottom looks 4.5 or 5 both good deer to shoot for sure

    I'd say the top one is 3.5 to 4.5 and the bottom one about a year older. Based on that his body looks a little more filled out and the abnormal points on the antlers.
