Yep, it's another "how old do you think this buck is" thread, but with a little twist. Lets talk about this buck and see how old everyone thinks he is. I have a pretty solid idea so I'm not asking for my benefit, I just want to see what everyone thinks about this buck. Then I'll post a picture of another buck and see what folks think and we can compare the two.

    I'll go either 5.5 or 6.5, I can't decide.

Ok, so far the majority think he's at least 4.5 years old. That's about the age I would put him at as well. Now, lets look at him compared to this bucks. How old do you think this guy is?

That first pic makes him look older then he is, I'm gonna say 4.5 for this guy as well, he still has a fairly tight stomach, and not really swaybacked. He easily could be a year older though.Again in my inexperienced opinion

P.S. That is one big bodied deer, gonna be a lot of meat on that one

Well, one chapter of this book has been written. The first buck in this post was taken Saturday morning by a friend of a neighbor. He was taken a little over a half mile from my property. I got a chance to take a look at him. He's a no doubter at 4.5 at least. He field dressed at 195lbs. That would put him at about 245lbs live weight. He carries quite a bit more mass than what the trail cam pics let on. I'm not sure on a score yet.

With that said, I'm thinking the second buck has to be pushing close to 300lbs live weight just by comparing the body sizes.

Here's the lucky hunters trophy photos.
