I see the crew on Bhod recommends ABB ( America's best bowstrings) I currently shoot strings from my local pro shop (whatever they have available) ... I haven't done much research on many after market strings, so maybe someone on this thread can tell me, are they worth it? Do you get more longevity out of strings vs the ones that come on the bow or is it more of a custom thing for guys. I'll definitely be following this thread.

I'm a huge fan of JBK bow strings. I've had multiple sets (because I choose to replace, not that they needed replaced). Great warranty and craftsmanship.

Of the big names Rogue, ABB and 60X are all great choices.

Lots of good stuff coming from small one man operations as well.

Just remember you get what you pay for when you decide which string and serving materials.

With 452X strings, Halo end servings and power grip center serving, that is about as bullet proof as you can get.

ABB and winners choice are way way over priced for what they are.

You can great treads from Bowstring depot, Brethern, Catfish customs, Wes van horn, twisted X, ex wolverin, hogwire...
