after plot starts

    plot has been planted for 2 wks.[about 2 inch ] seemed to be kinda thick in spots and really thin in others,should i get some other seed and spread in bare places or be patience.Have not fertilized yet but waiting to get a little taller.Dont know how to post pics but trying to figure out .thanks

    Depends what you planted and thr ratio of seeds per size of plot

    I would go ahead and fertilize and throw some extra seed on the thin spots. They probably won't fill in otherwise.

    Some times certain spots are just late. I'd put a bit more seed out.

    What did you plant? If it's turnips or rape and it looks a little thin you'll probably be ok. If it's oats or rye then overseed it a little bit.

    winter bulbs and sugar beets.thought i would try something different than clover this year

    Being the case, throw some rye, oats and/or wheat in the thin spots and rake or harrow it in don't be chincey with the seed either.
