Deer took 2 of the places 2 weeks to find it and the other, chalk it up to forgetting to turn the TC on,LOL. I did notice track's on the dug up area though..The one site was hit hard after them finding it. All 3 locations are back in the bush away's ,sorta like a feeding area before they come out to the feilds. Bucks are just starting to grow and got one young bull moose that is getting eaten by ticks, they got half his front chest area eaten up and he's rubbed the coat almost of.http://PRMS0033.jpghttp://http:// PRMS0103-1.jpg For 2 weeks this spot with the Moose pictures never got touched and the last 2 weeks I had 85 pictures so I'm happy. With out the Raxx I'd be lucky to get 20 pictures in 2 weeks.
Great pics. I just got mine out this past week so I'm gonna give it a couple of weeks before I recheck it. That last buck you posted has great growth. Blessings......Pastorjim
Gonna be interesting to see what the last buck turns out to be.... looks good! I would love to live/hunt up in the Ed. bowzone!
Sweet pics! This spring a few moose in my area were found dead, it was determined they died from the stress of ticks, also were rubbed raw. Hope he makes it through.
OctaneRudi Yes it's Monster Raxx, sory man I just shorten every thing I can possible, LOL , that's just me! PastorJim08, I have a feeling the picture of the buck just after the posting of the moose is going to be a dandy. This chunk of maybe 30 acres holds about 40 does in the winter and the summer they branch out to different acreages. Still holds a great number of does all year long and it's just a transition zone for bucks. During the rutt I've seen some intense fights for the does though. There is a few button bucks that stay with their does for the season till their booted out. Rutin There's a ton of work up here if your will to make the move, best place in Canada for work and wages. I work with a bunch of Americans myself. Easy to get the green card if you have a trade! I also have post a hunt with me in 2014 @ no cost, just your flight and tags, look it up in the forums under bowhunting if your interested. Rocky
Pat Thanks, I just realized I said the ticks were eating up his chest ,but it's his shoulders, LOL. Rocky
Purebowhunting Winter is over so he's made the cold ,plus he's really not that bad of shape, Should make for some fine table fare come October.. Rocky
