I've watched a few night hunts, but I've never participated in one.
One of the reasons is that I have not found a perfect light-weight thermal scope that can be equipped on a bow.
I've used a thermal monocular, IRay E6+, to observe humans and animals at night. It is excellent for its high image quality, fluency, and long battery life.
But it is not suitable for the bow.
Has anyone used an excellent light-wight thermal scope for the bow?

I've never seen a bow-mounted thermal scope before. Not sure if there's one out there.

Well, you can just use a regular thermal scope on your crossbow. Then you just need to retrofit a "v" bracket from a set of shooting sticks onto a spotting scope window mount. Duh.

I have found that I do not need a thermal vision device. I simply crack open a glow stick and smear some of that on both lens of a regular scope. It works best when the scope is mounted for zero eye relief.

Please, do tell us more about your "observing humans at night." Because, that seems completely normal and not weird at all.
