Hello fellow bowhunters. Need some expert advice on new camo. I'm thinking about Scent lok predator fall grey. What are your thoughts? Not really looking for extra warm camo. Just looking for something that is more quiet and comfortable. So what are you guys using and why? Thanks for your time.........awakeat3
I have scent lok full season and its warm and quiet And it has a good pattern to http://www.cabelas.com/mens-scent-c...t-lok-full-season-8482-bowhunter-jacket.shtml
Ive used Scent Lok for about 10 years, and this year it was time to update. Im a believer in scent control clothing...plain and simple. I worked at Scent Lok for 4 years before I joined the Navy, so Ive seen the ins & outs of this stuff. When I was shopping around this year though, I couldnt find any Scent Lok that was cut to fit me. The Full Season just had funky dimensions to it. Probably should have looked at the Scent Lok lined Cabelas gear. Always hear great stuff about it! I ended up with a Scent Blocker Dream Season Silent Shell set. In the 6 weeks that Ive been wearing it, Ive beat the hell out of it over and over, and its holding up well. Great overall design and functionality, especially for a treestand hunter. My biggest complaint is the durability of the material, especially in areas that have been pulled tight for stitching (like along the zipper). Ive washed it a few times already, and it almost looks like its wearing through here. Under Armour gear is AWESOME, but it doesnt come in talls, and Im 6'4" with a 34"+ inseam.
