As stated above, each situation is different, but when they baby shoots out and cries for the first time and your whole life changes...you won't need our advise.
lol... she may say she doesn't care if you go, but in my experience, it's a trap! I had to take a week and a half off work to stay home with the wife when our first was born. Plus, you'll probably be too tired, unless you just plan on napping in the stand.
man, i'd stay at home and enjoy the baby.women are real sore after the baby is born and emotional too! thats a heavy load especially on a new mom. stay at home you'll be glad you did and your wife will see how committed you are to helping out w/ the new baby. i got 3 kids a 10 year old, a soon to be 2 year old and a soon to be 1 year old. you lose a few days hunting but you gain admiration of your wife and get to spend time w/ your boy. not a bad trade. congrats on the kid post some pics! in camo of course!
come on man everyone knows you plan for the delivery of the baby around hunting season hahaha im just kidding congrats man
Another thing to take into account, Mama will be in rough shape downstairs and a lot of simple tasks like getting something to eat or drink could be painfull for a little while. I see no problem going here or there if your hunting areas are local, but I wouldn't leave for a full day at a time at that age. I just went through this myself last year with our first. Although, he was born in June not my bow opener. Good luck!
