I came across these lock on tree stands and they look really good. You can put a spine or base on any tree and take your platform and seat from tree to tree. I was wondering if anyone has used one before and what they thought about it. If you haven't seen them check them out and see what you think. www.advancedtreestands.com. I'm just looking for a comfortable lock on with a descent size platform

I haven't but as this is my first year I'm going to use my climber, but I really like the idea and if I find some good spots I can see where just hanging the spine on public land would really work for me.

Their cheapest is not much cheaper than a lone wolf, and I'd prefer the lone wolf attachment system as its quieter than ratchets.

But I only have experience with LW. They're tried and true, so I don't see much benefit to this system unless you hate LW for some reason.
