Vikings or packers didn't win the Super Bowl... You packer fans sure are funny. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Back to what the thread is supposed to be about. Reports of the Cardinals/Vikings discussing trade....Zona 2nd rd pick for AP and MN 7th rd pick.
Contracts are restuctured often in trades and I don't think there is any guaranteed $ left in his deal.
Laugh all you want.. It will happen sometime! Back to OP: I've heard cardinals are in the mix too. I wouldn't mind a 2nd rounder. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So the same attitude that thought that the Vikings did not look out for AP is going to be willing to restructure to facilitate a trade, and you mock my understanding of the NFL?
How the hell would I know what peterson or the Cardinals are willing to do??? Just telling you what is being reported. Seriously...
Seriously do you honestly believe AP will change his contract based on what he has said and the esteem he holds himself? You seem to want it all your own way to support your argument.
WTF are you talking about? What arguement am I making? I don't know what Peterson is going to do and don't even care. Did it occur to you the Vikings may have been asking him to restructure to be on their roster this year???
Saw the speculation about the trade to the cardinals and read where an unnamed source said not at that price. Leads me to believe that Tampa and Dallas also said not at that price as well, points to AP not willing to change the terms of his contract.
Would you? It cracks me up when we as fans say players should take less money, they are only worth _____. It's easy to say until you put yourself in their shoes... Would you give up a $26million contract personally just because fans think you are stubborn?
I can't believe I'm going to repond to you once more but this be my last. There have been many reports over the past several weeks which indicate Peterson gave the Vikings a list of teams (Ariz was included on it) of which he would be willing to restucture his deal in order to facilitate a trade. Peterson's father also confirmed Ariz was in the mix. Will a trade happen...who knows?
Considering the alternative most choose to redo the contract to stay. A 30 year old running back is not in a place where they can dictate the terms.
You have to remember we are talking NFL contracts. There is $2 million of guaranteed income left on the Viking contract. I think Peterson would like a new deal with more guaranteed $ extending beyond the 2015 season. So if the Vikings were to cut Peterson he gets $2 million.
