SO I shot a doe this past Sunday and after I got home I cleaned up my arrow and wanted to make sure it was still shooting good. As I was shooting I realized it was hitting off and I couldnt figure out what was wrong. Then I realized my serving around my D loop was all messed up so I took the bow with me to work and had a coworker tie in a new d loop and serving. I shot tonight and was all of a sudden hitting low and left?? it got worse from 20- 30 and I didnt even try 40. When I looked at the D loop with an arrow its definitely sitting higher than usual. Im wondering would this affect my left right misses as well or do I need to re-tune my bow? I am hoping the left right misses may have come from the improper d loop height causing me to change my anchor points or something, I was shooting dead on before and dont want to waste hunting time to retune the bow...
Sounds like you just need to put the D loop back where it was Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Well if your dloop moved you need to fix it. your peep is also going to be off a bit. Not sure why the left poi, but you need to put the bow in a vise, get it level and then find arrow level, thats where your dloop needs to go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yep like they said and rember to resight your bow because you will probably not get it exactly the same again.
So got it re done but it was still low.. adjusted my sight, wasn't enough, and then adjusted my rest and got back on target. Shooting good now, and i need to get it re strung soon so ill make sure it gets done exactly right then Sent from my SM-G930P using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
