    Gentleman,

Small intro - I'm new to archery and found a true passion. i love every second of it. however, i have a question about letting loose Muzzy 100 broadheads.

How much of a drop, if any, is there for Muzzy 100 broadheads? I'm using 100grain arrows with a 55lb draw weight.

    Any info is greatly appreciated.

If your bow is tuned properly the drop between your field points and your broadheads should be the same.I am assuming that by 100 grain arrow you mean 100 grain field point.

Yes, you are correct - 100 field points. This has been the most difficult aspect of archery to me - picking the right arrow sizes, broadheads, weights, and lengths.

If your broadheads are not hitting close to your same weight field points, it is very likely that your bow isn't tuned well,
(though Muzzy heads were some of the most inconsistent heads that I have ever shot)

If you are brand new to archery, find some experienced archers or a good pro shop to help you. As far as the correct arrow weights/stiffness and broadheads, you begin with your draw length and bow poundage. Good luck to you.

If you don't have a broadhead target I would recommend getting one and including some broadhead shooting as part of your practice. Even if my target point and broadhead hit dead on perfect, shooting the broadheads ensure my confidence to making that one shot when it presents itself.

I have found that if your bow is tuned correctly that muzzys should shoot dead on
