Just now shooting D-Loop for the first time...is there any quick tip on loosening them up when trying to move up/down during tuning? Mine sure locks in place after a shot or two pulling 70+lbs - don't want to be buggering up my serving.

    Thanks!

Why are you moving it up and down?

Your center serving is spiraled (threaded) just like a screw. Twist your loop around your string and the "threading" will move the loop up or down.

you can move rest also - but prefer to keep rest in a position that arrow is still passing through factory suggested center shot position...and I'm talking moving just a "smidge"

For paper tuning and making moves that are smides I would move the rest, It is easier to make micro adjustments by the rest rather than by the d loop.. Walt

D-loop cable is cheap. You don't want to be constantly spinnnig that loop. It can raise hell on your serving and give you a loose knot.

It takes me less than a few min to retie another d-loop. I prefer to move the rest. But with bowtechs, they put the #!$% berger holes so @$%@#$ low to the riser, its hard to do with most rests. Got a hoyt now, don't have to worry about that.

The closer the rest sits to your grip the less canting your bow from odd shots or bad form will affect your shot.

The closer the rest is to your hand the better.
