So I got a new bow this year and got it dialed in. I'm shooting gold tips now and was thinking about adding white wraps to help me pick up the arrow a little better in flight. I am not sure how heavy they are but are they going to change my arrow flight any. I practice out to 70 and hunt 30 yards and in.
A 4 inch wrap weighs about 6 grains, the same weight as a single blazer vane for comparison. It will not make a noticeable difference.
Ive got 2 different sets of arrows that are 70 odd grains different in weight and at 20 yards i have no noticable difference 6 grains wont effect normal hunting ranges
The only wraps I have used that were heavy were the reflection material, you can feel the difference just in the package.
