I have built 16 since January(hacked another 14 cameras for others). Sold 3 and gave one to my parents...so currently running 12 homebrews - 9 of those scouting deer, 1 predator set(fisher/fox), 1 dustbath(grouse etc), and 1 wolf set. Also have 7 commercials but they are mostly in security applications on the driveway/entry pts to property, at camp, and the worksite or watching other cams(still getting me lots of deer pics though).

Was 7 until I tried to put new batteries in my Stealth Cam yesterday. A pop and a crack followed by smoke and the camera is done.

I have 4 for sure, testing another one out that stopped working on me last time but I think I fixed it. I hope anyway, well know by the weekend when I check it. Its very addictive. If I could afford it Id have more. Hope to get to a point where I have 1 per 10 acres or so...but thats a bit of a dream.

reposted my response to different thread...

*I get most of my info for builds and hacks on Camtrapper.com, Hagshouse.com, and DIYtrailcams.com, as well as Chasingame.com and Outdoortalk.com - Lots of Good info, links and guys that will help you through the process as well as troubleshooting.
**if you are trying your first - Keep it Simple...the Sony P32 is an easy hack and makes a nice game cam.
