I'm wondering what you guys (and gals) think about this idea. In the interest of saving money, I was thinking about adding a fifth pin to my TruGlo Carbon XS. While there appears to be plenty of room for an additional pin, is this a wise decision or should I just purchase a five pin sight? I'm trying to save some money, as I recently bought the Carbon XS. As always, thanks for the input!

If you like the sight then just add a pin. Tru Glo makes a tritium pin that would work well if you bow hunt. I thought about adding one to mine.

In terms of the economical decision i think you already answered your own question. Definitely just a add a pin or two. Adding a new pin is going to cost about $7 and ten minutes of your time where as a new sight... well that could easily be $200+. Add another pin and if you really don't like it you can always sell it and get a new one.

Yeah, I figured it would be a simple fix but wasn't sure if it would cause an issue with the sight itself. Thanks a bunch, fellas!

If you want to save money, definetly just pick up an extra single pin to put in there. Thats what I did last year before season.

I have added 2 pins to a TruGlo before and it worked great. You are doing exactly what I was going to do if I would have bought the Carbon XS and it was on the top of my list. I just like at least 5 pins.
