Just passed through Kentucky on our way to Missouri. Saw a lot of deer on the sides of I-24. Some nice shooters and plenty of does. They are definitely moving. Come on rut action.
I have been bow hunting hard this week in Berry, Kentucky exit 144 off I-75. I have started to see a lot of little 4 pointers running around chasing does and in the past two days finally saw two 8 pts. Defintely seeing more action, but still hunt over acorns in the trees, they still aren't moving far from bedding areas.
I have been super busy with work and not been able to hunt, but my buddies have been seeing a lot of smaller bucks running does during daylight. They did see a big deer checking does before dark last night which is a good sign. This is in SE KY.
