We have a lot more than we did last year. But we didn't have any last year. The Pecan Hickory in my back yard had twice as many nuts this year than I can ever remember; we've lived there 9 years. I can't speak for my hunting grounds 'cause I haven't been up there since early August but if it's anything like what I've been seeing around town we should have a good crop. -D
They are starting to hit the dirt here In georgia too. It should be raining acorns right about the bow opener.
There are a lot of acorns here in eastern NC. I have not seen many falling yet, but the trees are full.
Very few trees at the house have any at all,but I am at the lake this week on vac and there everywhere and hitting the roof and dock like a hailstorm all in just a 100 miles.
Missouri's acorn crop is ten times better this year, since it dried out this last month they should be dropping by the end of September. That's my analysis anyhow
